Remembrance Day 2010

Today is not about politics its about the thousands of veterans from all wars and on all sides.

This is our time to remember those that have fallen.
Canadian soldiers walk on a mud wall past a field of opium poppies on the front line with the Taliban during a patrol in Afghanistan in March 2010.
Its amazing that here we are almost 100 years since the war to end all wars.
We still fight in the mud and dust of poppy fields although now its even                               further afield than a broken Europe.

Friends have passed, others are wounded with physical and psychological scars.
War costs on both sides and now is the time for reflection.

Its simple.
